Office Interiors

When we were commissioned to renovate and design the interior architecture of a new office for the PFMS group of the Ministry of Finance, we decided to create an open-plan and flexible space preserving the view to the tree canopy that lines the east side of the office along Sampige Road in Malleshwaram. Our focus was on creating an efficient organization of groups within the plan, taking care of the fixed population of the office and double-duty spaces to accommodate the floating population that comes in regularly to attend training sessions. Aesthetically, in keeping with the brief, the conventional look of a government office was avoided – instead creating a light, muted and airy environ with accents of energizing colour and pattern.
