The arrival sequence of a walk through a 30’ deep tropical garden sets the experiential tone for the rest of this sprawling bungalow. While creating privacy and shielding the home from the noise of the adjacent main road, the entry walk in the garden anticipates the home’s intimate connection to a garden courtyard from all the interior spaces. Vertical rotatable louvers are planned in the façade to create visual privacy. The use of locally available stone creates a backdrop of serenity and enhances the nativity of the built form.
